bad idea or best idea

fandom: girl genius (still pretty oc-centric)
summary: don’t go drinking with bored jӓgers. just don’t. inspired greatly by this page in the comic.
(i’m sorry about the accents in this one, i wrote most of it off-the-cuff at various late-night times and also was attempting to layer drunkenness on top of the already confounding jӓger accent and it was just a disaster please forgive me)

it’s not like it’s uncommon for off-duty jӓgers to start... diverting themselves early in the day. but ognian’s squad is part of the platoon left on castle-minding duty while just about everyone else is having fun ransacking somewhere in ukraine with the master. which is just unfair, really: the castle can protect the town! it doesn’t need thirty-odd jӓgermonsters to help it do that!
oh, sure, some of the neighboring lords have been getting uppity, and it wouldn’t do to leave the town visibly unmanned, but that’s beside the point.
the point is…
the point is that oggie’s squad has been drinking since yesterday afternoon, all right.
